A week before Christmas it snowed all afternoon for a few hours. I had work, but no students due to parent conferences all day. Thank goodness because I don't think my students would have been able to focus knowing it was snowing outside. To many of you snow is no big deal, but to us here in Henderson it doesn't happen, especially like this, EVER. Before leaving work, I had to scrape the snow off my car. I never would have thought to keep my snow scraper from college, so I had to find something else in the car that would work. Once I arrived at my parents to pick up Parker, my dad would not let me drive home and insisted that Justin come pick us up. We eventually made it home and Justin passed plenty of inexperience snow drivers on his way to get me. The next day we had a snow day and no school, which has never happened in my life time. Some of you I'm sure are thinking no big deal, but that day it snowed here, we made history.
Parker had fun playing in the snow the next morning

Snow in Vegas - crazy. I watched the terrible conditions of all the travelers on the news. I bet it was a nice change for you guys though.
Are you still living at your parents house? How did the wedding go in November?
tell everyone hello - hope your holidays were great.
